The mission of this project is to build an interactive website that will act as a central meeting place for Nigerian (and the interested non-Nigerian) technlogy enthusiast to collaborate on projects, share ideas, gather knowledge and make alliances that will have an important role in the future Nigeria Internet market. The domain name for this site/project has already been bought (www.nigeriaconnect.net) and plans have begun for it's development. The current Nigerian Internet industry can only be described as mediocre when compared to the state of the Industry at large. The general mission of this project is to create a site that will help in inspiring, educating and kick-starting the Nigerian people into the cutting-edge digital world using Java Technology.
