Sorry, I tried it but it still doesn't work. I downloaded a fresh copy of
MacPython 2.2a3 (awfully slow) and run the Installer succesfull. But "Configure
Python Carbon" still hangs by "Creating PythonCore aliases..." :-(
Configuration: PowerMac G4 2 Processors 500 Mhz, Mac OS 10.1
Sorry, no better news...
